What is Fightbook?
Fightbook is the centralized platform for the combat sports community, connecting fighters, promoters, matchmakers, fans, and service providers. It allows users to create profiles, manage events, engage with fans, and discover services like coaching or venue rentals. We're building tools for matchmaking, ticket sales, bout bidding, and more to streamline the fight world.
Who can use Fightbook?
Fightbook is designed for everyone in combat sports: fighters to showcase their skills, promoters and matchmakers to organize events and build networks, fans to follow fighters and events, and service providers (e.g., coaches, gyms) to list their offerings and connect with users.
Is Fightbook free to use?
Yes, basic access to Fightbook, including creating profiles and browsing the platform, is free. Advanced features like premium event tools or priority matchmaking may require a subscription in the future—stay tuned for updates as we continue developing the platform.
How do I sign up for Fightbook?
Visit fightbook.com and click "Register Now" on the homepage. You'll need to provide your email address, create a password, and select your user type (e.g., fighter, promoter, fan). Early registrants get exclusive perks like priority access to new features. Verify your email to complete the process.
When will new features like matchmaking be available?
We're actively developing features like bout bidding, ticket sales, and AI event tools. Join our waitlist during signup for updates, or follow us on social media (@fightbook on Instagram) for announcements. Timelines may vary as we prioritize community feedback.
What features are available on Fightbook?
Current features include creating fighter profiles (with background info and media uploads), a service directory for finding coaches or rentals, and basic networking tools. Features like event planning with AI tools, fan feeds for comments and following, ticket sales, and bout bidding are in development and coming soon.
How do I create a fighter profile?
After signing up as a fighter, go to your dashboard and select "Create Profile." Upload your bio, fight stats, photos/videos, and any relevant media. Profiles help build visibility and will integrate with future matchmaking tools. Make sure to keep your info up-to-date for better connections.
Can I edit or delete my profile?
Yes, log in to your account, navigate to your profile settings, and make edits anytime. To delete your profile, contact support at support@fightbook.com with your account details—we'll process the request within 48 hours. Note that deleting your profile removes all associated data.
How do I verify my profile?
Verification helps build trust on the platform. For fighters, submit proof like fight records or IDs via the verification form in your settings. Promoters and service providers can verify with business details. Our team reviews submissions within 3-5 business days.
How do I contact Fightbook support?
Email us at support@fightbook.com for any issues, or use the in-app contact form (coming soon). Response times are typically within 24-48 hours. For urgent matters, include details like your username and a description of the problem.
How can promoters organize events?
Once event planning tools are live (coming soon), promoters can create event listings, use AI for matchmaking suggestions, and manage local bouts. In the meantime, build your network by connecting with fighters and service providers through profiles and the directory.
What is the Fan Feed?
The Fan Feed is a community space for following fighters, commenting on events, and staying updated—it's currently in development. When launched, fans can access it from the dashboard to engage directly with the fight community.
How does the Service Directory work?
Service providers can list their offerings (e.g., coaching, ring rentals) in the directory. Users search by category or location to find and connect with providers. If you're a provider, sign up and add your services to get discovered and form partnerships.
How does Fightbook protect my privacy?
We take privacy seriously. Your data is stored securely, and we only share profile information you choose to make public. Review our Privacy Policy (linked in the footer of fightbook.com) for details on data collection, usage, and your rights. You can adjust privacy settings in your account.
What if I forget my password?
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter your email, and follow the reset link sent to you. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
