Creator Terms
Last Updated: November 1, 2026
1. About These Terms
These Creator Terms apply when you post on Fightbook as a fighter, when you post to a fighter's profile as their coach, and when you turn on subscriptions so that fans pay to read your posts. They add to our Terms of Service, including its content rules, and to our Child Safety Standards. Where these terms and the Terms of Service differ on posts or subscriptions, these terms apply.
You accept these terms by pressing Turn subscriptions on. We record the version you accepted and when. If you post without turning subscriptions on, Sections 2, 3 and 9 to 13 still apply to your posts.
2. Who Can Post
A fighter can post on their own claimed profile. A coach can post to the profile of a fighter they coach when their link to the fighter on Fightbook includes Post to my profile; the post shows that the coach wrote it. Nobody can post on the profile of a fighter under 13.
If the fighter is under 18, or their profile has no date of birth, each post waits for Fightbook to review it before anyone else sees it. Once it is live, its text and media cannot be changed, but it can still be unpublished or deleted.
3. Your Posts
You own your posts. You grant Fightbook a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, adapt, display, and distribute them, to operate the Services and to show and promote your posts and profile on and off the Services. Adapting includes resizing photos, converting videos, removing their location and device data, and making the blurred preview described in Section 4. The license ends when you delete a post, except for copies we keep as described in Section 10 and in our Privacy Policy.
You need the rights to everything you post. That includes footage of fights and events, which usually belongs to the promoter or broadcaster, and music, photos, and video made by others. Anyone who can be identified in your post must have agreed to appear in it, and for anyone under 18, their parent or guardian must have agreed.
You are responsible for what you post, including that it is accurate and lawful and follows the content rules in our Terms of Service.
4. Free and Subscribers-Only Posts
A post is either free or for subscribers. You can make a post subscribers-only while your subscriptions are on, and only before it is first published: a post that has been published cannot be locked later. You can make a subscribers-only post free at any time, and its photos and videos then become public.
People who don't subscribe see a locked card with your name, when you posted, and how many photos or videos the post has. If you leave Show a blurred preview to non-subscribers on, they also see a blurred version of its first photo. Besides your subscribers, Fightbook's administrators and the coaches and managers linked to you on Fightbook can see your subscribers-only posts.
We keep subscribers-only photos and videos away from people who haven't subscribed, but we cannot stop a subscriber from saving, recording, or sharing what they see.
5. Turning Subscriptions On
To turn subscriptions on, you must be 18 or older, with your date of birth on your own claimed profile, and your account must be in good standing. While your subscriptions are on, you cannot change your date of birth yourself; if it is wrong, email support@fightbook.com. If a corrected date of birth shows that you are under 18, your subscriptions are turned off.
To be paid, you must connect a Stripe account through the Services and keep it in good standing. Payment processing services for creators on Fightbook are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the "Stripe Services Agreement"). By turning subscriptions on, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as Stripe may modify it from time to time. As a condition of Fightbook enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Fightbook accurate and complete information about you, and you authorize Fightbook to share it, and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe, with Stripe.
6. Price, Fees, and Payouts
Price. Fightbook sets one monthly price for subscriptions to every fighter. It is currently $5.00 a month. A new price applies to new subscriptions; each subscriber keeps the price they subscribed at.
Fightbook's fee. Fightbook keeps a share of each payment, before any taxes, and you earn the rest. The share is currently 15%, so you earn $4.25 of each $5.00 payment. Fightbook pays Stripe's processing fees from its share. The fee in force when a fan pays applies to that payment, including a renewal.
When you are paid. Each payment becomes available to pay out after a hold period, currently 7 days. Once a day, if your available balance is at least the minimum payout (currently $25.00), Fightbook transfers it to your Stripe account, and Stripe pays it to your bank on your Stripe account's schedule. A payout waits while your Stripe account is not ready to receive it, while your payouts are on hold under Section 10, or while you are suspended, and it can move to the next day if Fightbook's own Stripe balance cannot cover it.
Changes. We may change the price, the fee, the hold period, or the minimum payout. A change applies to payments made after it. Your Creator studio shows the ones in force.
No guarantee. Fightbook does not guarantee any number of subscribers or any amount of earnings. You decide what and how often you post.
7. Refunds, Disputes, and Your Balance
Our Terms of Service tell subscribers when Fightbook refunds them. When a payment you earned from is refunded, your share of the refund comes off your balance, and Fightbook's fee on it is reversed too. Fightbook refunds the month a subscriber is in, in full and from your balance, if you are suspended, if you close your account, or if you turn subscriptions off and choose to unpublish your subscribers-only posts. Fightbook may also refund a payment, in full or in part, in other cases where we decide a subscriber should be refunded. A payment refunded because it should not have been taken, such as a double charge, never counted toward your balance.
If a subscriber disputes a payment with their bank, their subscription ends at once. If the bank takes the money back, your share of that payment comes off your balance; Fightbook pays Stripe's dispute fee. If the dispute is decided for Fightbook, your share comes back.
If refunds or disputes take your balance below zero, nothing more is paid out until your later earnings cover it.
8. Pausing and Turning Off Subscriptions
Pausing stops new subscriptions. Your current subscribers keep renewing and reading, and they are not told.
Turning subscriptions off stops them all. Subscribers are not charged again and keep access until the end of the month they paid for. If you have subscribers-only posts, you choose first what happens to them: make them free, or unpublish them. If you unpublish them, every subscription ends at once instead, and each subscriber is refunded the month they are in, from your balance. Your acceptance of these terms stays on record if you turn subscriptions on again.
9. Suggestions in Your Studio
Your Creator studio may suggest things to post, such as a post before your next fight. Suggestions are optional, and nothing is posted unless you post it.
10. Review and Enforcement
Fightbook may review any post or comment. If content breaks these terms, our Terms of Service, or our Child Safety Standards, or if we need to protect people, comply with the law, or look into a report, fraud, or a dispute, we may remove posts and comments, stop you posting for up to a year, turn subscriptions off on your account, hold your payouts, or suspend you as a creator. We tell you, and why, when we remove one of your posts, stop you posting, turn your subscriptions off, hold your payouts, or suspend you.
A removed post is kept as a record, and you cannot change it.
Turning subscriptions off on your account stops new subscriptions, and renewals stop at the end of each paid month. Your posts stay as they are, and what you have earned is still paid out.
Holding your payouts stops them while your earnings keep adding up, until we release the hold.
Suspending you as a creator hides your posts, ends every subscription with the month the subscriber is in refunded from your balance, and holds your payouts. If we lift the suspension, your posts return, but subscriptions do not restart.
We may keep posts and records when the law requires it, or when we need them for a report, a dispute, or a legal claim. If you think we got something wrong, email support@fightbook.com.
11. Closing Your Account
If you close your account, every subscription ends at once, each subscriber is refunded the month they are in from your balance, and your posts are taken down. What you are still owed after those refunds is paid to your Stripe account.
12. Taxes
You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on your earnings. Fightbook does not calculate or withhold taxes on them. We may ask you for tax information, and report your earnings to tax authorities, where the law requires.
13. Our Relationship and Changes
You are an independent creator, not Fightbook's employee, agent, or partner.
We may update these terms. An update has a new date above and becomes effective when posted. If your subscriptions are on, keeping them on after the effective date means you accept the update; you can turn them off at any time under Section 8.
